A KN95 mask or KN95 respirator is a particulate-filtering facepiece respirator that has been designed to filter at least 95% of airborne particles. it creates a tight seal around the nose and mouth when worn correctly to minimize leakage. They are great at protecting both the wearer and the people around the wearer from airbourne pathogens. One reason they’re so effective: KN95s are made out of many layers of fine polypropylene fibers, which use the power of static electricity to trap incoming and outgoing particles and droplets.
Our KN95 masks come flat packed and individually sealed in a plastic bag. They possess a malleable strip around the nose part to make sure they can be adjusted to a good fit. They come with elastic loops that are put around the ears and thus are more comfortable to wear than masks that have bands which go around the head (some people can get headaches from those).
We supply KN95 masks WITHOUT an exhalation valve as these should be avoided due to them releasing bigger amounts of unfiltered air into the surroundings and thus reducing the protection of those around you when wearing a mask.
KN95 (GB2626-2006) is a Chinese standard for face mask and they can be considered equivalent to US N95s. Mask standards for Europe (FFP2), Australia (P2), Korea (KMOEL), and Japan (DS) are also highly similar.
