SAM Splint

A SAM (structural aluminum malleable) splint is a highly versatile device, for immobilizing injured limbs in an emergency situation. It consists of thin layers of aluminum with a closed cell foam coating that makes it 100% waterproof.

The SAM splint comes in a small rolled up package and can easily be unrolled and formed to conform to a persons injured limb. If formed into a channel it becomes quite rigid and can then be used to temporarily stabilize an injury in combination with a bandage or cloth.

It can easily be cut into smaller pieces to be used for smaller injuries like fingers.
